CCSG

Chesapeake Celiac Support Group, Inc.
(a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization)
R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids)

Who Are We?

We are a combined group of celiacs, gluten sensitives and parents of celiac & autistic children who meet monthly to share information and learn from the experts in celiac disease and the gluten-free diet. We have found that sharing our experiences, frustrations and successes with each other is invaluable! All of the monthly meetings are opened to both the adults and R.O.C.K. parents. R.O.C.K. may have a special meeting occasionally to provide some information that is specific to children with celiac disease and they, of course, have ‘gluten-free adventures’ together.

When & Where We Meet:

We meet on the 2nd Friday of every month at Anne Arundel Medical Center’s Health Sciences Pavilion, 7th Floor, 2001 Medical Parkway, Annapolis Maryland 21401 from 6:30p – 8:30p.

What We Offer:

We have been very fortunate to have many great speakers such as top researcher Dr Alessio Fasano & Pam Cureton, dietician with University of Maryland’s Center for Celiac Research, author and dietician, Shelley Case, R.O.C.K. creator and author, Danna Korn, Steven Plogsted, webmaster of www.glutenfreedrugs.com as well as many local experts in the field of nutrition, research and gluten-free products.
Past events have included vendor fairs & seminars that offered CME credits for medical professionals. CCSG plans for this year included classes for those who are newly diagnosed.

Our Mentor Program, Dining Out Program and discounts at select local vendors are value added benefits included in your CCSG membership.
